Hot day

It's been a scorcher today in my part of Lincolnshire only trouble we have had is billy the jack russell he has escaped twice the second time he nearly got run over cars were stopping in the main street trying to catch him. People in shops even came out to see what was going on,the show was soon over though has we anaged to catch him safely.

Veg plot

This yer i decided to grow my own veg having been made redundant it will be easier on the pocket, having not grown them before it's not a simple as you think still i've got family and my neigbour to guide me in my venture so hopefully there will be a bumper crop.

I've just finnished putting a garden shed up,i should have been indoors with my feet up getting rid of this summer cold i've picked up from the wifes dad.

One thing that winds me up is people that can't be bothered to reply to you when they say they will, it's made worse when you are looking for a job i was made redundant in february. I have applied for jobs through recruitment agencies they get your hopes up and then nothing you end up chasing them. Oh well such is life i've got my rant out of the way now, it's back to happy thoughts now.

A good day out

Had a cracking day today took the wife and kids swimmig with her um,sister and her husband and thier kids. While they were swimming i had a look around the town to see hwo much it had changed in the 20 odd years since i moved away i ended up going to the park in the middle of town and to my suprise the local motor racing club were having a car show. There were also motor bikes and some beutiful BRM racing cars they used to be made in the town so all in all fun was had by everyone.
